William,
Sorry about your car. I hope you have it back in shape soon!

William's car was my inspiration for trying Zaino. Here is a partial hood shot in the shade this morning...is that green I see in a red car?

William, that is great news! It sounds like Zaino shines well, and adds a coat of armor as well...I guess I should add another coat

EX CON,
I as well did much research on the product following the acquisition of my S. I have used many waxes in my time-Zymol (the good stuff)/Meguire's/etc. The answer comes down plain and simple---the well established techniques involving carnuba-based waxes to protect and "replenish" painted surfaces are based on antiquated/pre-clear coat, and largely anecdotal but well proven, experience. Zaino is the leader in the new paradigm of polishes for paints needing protection but not necessarily deep conditioning (like on a new Boxster S, for instance). I was skeptical too, thinking most of the stuff on S2ki sounded like the making s of a good infomercial, until I tried it. And while the fellas down at your local PCA event may scoff at you for using it, you will be rest assured that you have the best looking/performing paint protection there is.
