When I purchased my S2000, I had "Touch of Class" applied to it. Will the application of Zaino products remove whatever Honda applied to my car? Anybody else have "Touch of Class" or Permaplate applied to their S2000 and use Zaino products? Search function is down, sorry if this is a repost.

Zaino will not remove anything, since it has no abrasives in it. As a generalization, most any product a dealer puts on a car can be washed off with Dawn. It is astounding to look at the ingredients list on products that dealers sell customers for $500 or $600 and realized that it is nothing more than wax.

I heard that. Mine had an $895 markup for Perma-Plate.
According to the Perma-Plate warranty, you need to reapply their own Perma-Plate Paintguard Renewer every six months or 7500 miles, to help "maintain the integrity of the protective seal."

FYI: the reason why dealerships prices are quite bit higher is that they are not just selling you wax. The main part of the expence go to the warranty that comes with it. If you had to get your car re-painted, I'm sure you would be happy to have spent the money.
