Default Drift Circuit

I was looking over the Drift Circuit registration Signup (Signup Page) and out of all those cars I only see 3 S2000's. What's up? Other people need to come out and represent. Wassup Liem, put that turbo to proper use, I see you buying all these stock wheels and shit, what's up? Even Fusion Saleen is on there. C'mon!

Do they teach you how to drift? To answer the question precisely, I don't know how to drift but I guess you can... (I've been in a drifting Corolla automatic)

I don't think they're going to teach you how to drift there. I think it's more or less a place for you to figure it out on your own. Only you know the way you like to drive. Nobody can teach you feeling and with drifting there's a lot of feeling involved. You really can't learn from a book or video or go by what the norm says. For example, look at the Vertex Soarer. A lot of people will tell you that the Soarer is a boat and hard to drift, but you see it busting out at D1 and on videos like a bat out of hell. I think drifting helps you become one with the car. You find its slip points, body rolls, weird noises and all those different things when you drift. Learning how to drift wont necessarily make you a faster driver, cause grip driving is 99 percent of the time faster. But it will make you a better driver by knowing the limits of your car.

So just go out there, burn up some tires, have fun.

PS

For whoever actually clicked that poll option about s2000's not being able to drift, that is foolish.

Put it to use? I'm trying to. I've been drag racing, will be autocrossing within this month and will be heading to the real tracks the following month.

I'm not much of a drifter, although I've never tried. Sounds like alot of fun. If I decide to go, I'll definitely be driving since I don't like to come out to watch.

BTW, Cory ain't $hit, I'll drift around his ass in 6th gear. J/K
