i hit a cone too on the freeway but i didnt think about complaining or anything.

Man I just picked up my amuse bumper and hit a squirrel, can I sue mother nature? Just trying to get some humor out here...sorry to hear bout that bro, I remember when Kristine from Bay Area came down, there was stuff all over the freeway!!!

 

so check it out guys ! i went to the CHp this morning and got a report and damage assesment... then on the caltrans website i made a damage claim.. the CHP officer said it happens sometimes !! its a caltrans cone !! it says right on the side... i have it at home LOL... they are sending me a claim form.. the CHp said that usuallly the city takes care of it cause they dont want any bad rap... cones or objects on the road are dangerous and since there are so many reporting agencies like the TURKO FILES or whatever.... thanks nick !! yea the S is pretty tore back from it !! =(

 

Jay, if you need a witness, I'm there for you bro. Sorry to hear about the S, maybe I'll stop by this week to check out the damage. Or take it by Arkon's sometime and gimme a call and I'll head over.

You got pics of the damage? I hit a cone in my lude and left marks on the bumper and my foglight/turn signal but didn't crack anything. Polyeurethane FTW. My lip and bumper both Poly.

 

yea i am lowered so it ripped out the lower airdam and busted the bottom of the bumper in the mouth off... getting a c-west bumper and sopme carbon canards and stuff !!

 

haha hell yeah. i ran over a cone on my way back to north county that night and a piece of soft/bendable metal or something. I thought that thing would have taken out my tires completely but luckily nothing happened. and on my way down to mission valley going the opposite way, i hit a bunch of insulation or something that looked like sheets of cotton. the 15 was TRASHED that night.

 

yeha cal trans wont do jack...ive run over few cones in my life.....
