Default HELP! can't take off headlight

hey guys i'm wondering if anyone can help me out with my headlight issue

i'm swapping my ap1 headlights for ap2s and i'm down to the last 10mm bolt behind the fender wall and the metal brace under the headlight (bolt 5 on rick's instruction manual http://www.ricks2k.com/info/instructions/diffuser.pdf ) PROBLEM IS...i can't reach it even with an extension so i'm pretty much stuck and i need to send these out asap (also i'm pretty nervous about detaching all the electrical wires connected to the headlight assembly)

if anyone could help me out via forum, phone, hands-on it would be GREATLY appreciated...thanks for your time i hope someone can help me out!

from looking at that picture of the "ricks headlight removal" instructions, why dont you try removing some of the fender liner to get to the last bolt??

sorry, just my 2cents from what i was looking at. if not, sears has a great selection of extensions.

yeah i would say just get a bigger extension, funny i dont remember need a really long extension for that bolt. Also it was like 4 years ago. If you still need available later this week, i might be able to come over and help.

i got to the last bolt after about hours worth of strenuous finger searching and HOPING i would hit the socket...now my problem is unhooking the electronic wiring and actually pulling out the headlights out...

panda do you have time tonight at all? i'll pay for your gas fees, i'm at the crucial last step but i really don't want to pull or break something from the headlight unit...thanks

once again thanks everyone for your input and help, really really appreciate it

i just need to know my way around the wiring and how to dislodge the headlight from the car...it's my first DIY and i'm pretty nervous of scratching the headlight or snapping a wire connector =/ would the manual help me in that situation? thanks elude

well to remove the headlight from the car itself is fairly easy if you've removed all the bolts and the three connectors for wiring.

its all a matter of finesse and fit/form in removal, you'll have to maneuver it out.
