i dont know what this is? at first i thought my rear differential was leaking but when i jacked up the car and took these pix it doesnt look like it at all

anyone have any idea what the damage is and the cost to fix?

That's your differential mount. The fluid is leaking and the mounts need to be replaced. I would put the rear on jack stands and used a jack to hold the differential up while you R&R that mount. Should be a simple fix.

actually just looks like a lil rusty water dripping off the mount. did you go through a puddle before the pics? i doubt it is diff fluid, wouldn't be a different color?

I was always under the impression that the differential mounts used on the S2000 where liquid filled. I must have been misinformed.

looks like the mount to me too. it's just wet in that one spot no way that is just water or something like that. looks like a real easy fix too
Get that mount from Honda. but yeah may not be cheep
