Default S2000 is expensive to keep.

Was thinking about the cost of ownership of the S2000, its starting to show its ugly head now that my car is putting on some serious mileage (130000). CAT, new struts, tires, oil changes, bearing, some sound that i cant find thats coming from under my car near the transmission, brakes, gas, Keeping it shiny, theres too much to list and i know i am forgetting somethingS.

so i was thinking of selling my S and getting a civic as a beater, and bike for fun. but when started thinking about it and driving the S on a beautiful day like today it makes it really hard to sell. i mean i love the car but cost of ownership and a bad economy isn't helping any. At least a civic would be cheap to keep, and a bike (hopefully) will feed my need for speed and fun.

what do you guys think?

input and suggestions are greatly appreciated!

CAT, 100 Used
new struts, 100 Used
tires, (500) new, 250 Used
oil changes, DIY. 15.00 bucks?
bearing, (once every 100K) couple hundred.
------------------------------------------------------
600 bucks.

Don't sell, you'll regret it and end up buying another one

2 wheels > 4 wheels no matter how hard you try...

dump the S , pick up a CBR 1000RR

i was thinkin the same thing...

but with gas prices soaring over $4... a bike and beater is sounding tempting. maybe if i had a garage to work on my car i wouldnt be thinkin about selling.

im also not sure if i would a riding a bike everywhere. someone wanna loan me their bike for a week? ha thanks for the advice guys.

anymore more suggestions?
