Default SD Soft Top

Hey Guys..

New member here. Just bought an AP2 and looking to replace the soft top. There are two tears (about an inch each) on the passenger side. Originally, I wanted to get a Forbidden Hardtop but I realized the removal and installation of a hardtop isn't as fast/ convenient as I had thought. Plus, I like the convertible top I am looking for a place to replace the soft top. What would you guys recommend? I found a place on yelp (Bernie’s Auto Upholstery and Convertible Tops) that will do it for $1,350. Has anyone been here before? What was your experience like? They seem to have good reviews on Yelp but I wanted to hear from S2Ki community. Also, does the price seem fair? It seems $1,350 is probably on the higher end.. Let me know.

Thanks.

I have had two small tears in mine for a long time, doesn't leak, not very noticeable.

Wait for something to bad to "happen" to it and then let your insurance cover it?
