I just went to get a SMOG and the guy said no one will pass me because my intake, no CARB #. It's a K&N so I never thought i'd have trouble, so the question is, is there some place that won't care about my intake or does someone want to loan me a stock intake for a day? I had my car smoged before with an intake that came with the car that was some replica of a AEM or something and it passed WTF.

I bought it used, i'm going to call K&N.

 

Whoever I bought it from off this board didn't send me the sticker...K&N will send me a replacement after I prove it's my car, the intakes on my car, pictures of the car and vin, and a copy of my registration.

There is a smog station on Mission Gorge rd. across from Mr. Car used car dealershit. They don't care what you have on your car , and they offer a free second smog if you fail the first time. I think they charged me $40.

 

The Test Only Station on Palm Ave, just west of the 5, didn't care what I had on my car, but they charged more than 70 bucks.

I can't say they will pass any car, but they overlooked a cold air intake and a header on more than one occasion. I don't have the address.
