Hello. I'm new to the forum here, but I just wanted to share my experience. It's a shame that I recently signed up and I'm already having an issue, but I suppose it's my own fault for not checking up first. This is my second time being scammed.

I bought this set of fender over flares from anns2k on the forum here. Here is the for sale thread:

I asked how much shipped to my business and he offered $110 shipped. Great deal, definitely, but I suppose it was too good to be true.

I sent payment for the item on February 20th, 2010. The seller told me he was going out of town and would ship the item after his return from Atlantic City. I said that is fine. A week goes by and he is still delayed on shipping.

After a few weeks I decided to contact him again and he stated it was shipped through a small postal company. It has been over a month since that report. He agreed to refund me until we figured out where the package was. I even said I would resend payment for the item if it arrived.

Week after week goes by and he doesn't respond to me or gives me updates. I can understand that we all have our personal lives, but if I attempt to contact you, the least you can do is reply. IF you tell me you're finding out what's going on, why can't you update me after speaking to the shipping company?

Anyways, I've been trying to get a refund now and he still will not send it. I have also filed a paypal claim for the past week. It's pending on his reply.

I just tried calling him and now he's saying I have the wrong number when I've been texting and calling him for a couple weeks now. Pretty lame.... I call and ask for Walter (the name on his paypal) and he says his name is JP. I'm not sure which one is right, but it's just weak that he has to beat around the bush.

next time make sure he has the item, tell him to write on a piece of paper his s2ki name the date with item next to it

 

for sure, i didn't feel like he was a bad guy. he would reply via sms oftenly. but now he's just disappeared. i tried google'ing his email and his ebay rating popped up with a few negative counts these past few months as well.

i hate to post foul information up, but it is what it is when you bring it out upon yourself.

as an update, i did file a paypal dispute and paypal refunded me the total amount in my favor.
