Im pretty sure he just wanted your word that they worked. What the hell are you gonna do with a broken ballast? If your ballast was legit and working you should have no problem saying sure I can guarantee they work....Cuz if you cant guarantee they work, then they are probably broken... just a thought.

here are the pictures that i PMd him before the sale. If that's not good enough, I don't know what is. I do NOT offer warranties/guarantees because it worked when the last time I fired it up. If it breaks along the way I'd be happy to help with a claim to shipping but I'm absolutely NOT going to be the one foot the bill.

Well, it seems like you are getting a refund, though it's not going to be immediate. You're still getting your money back...

Look at the pics, they are crap, i know its my fault for probably going ahead and purchasing the ballast with those kind of pics, but i thought you would guarantee, the ballast worked. But all you could say was to your "knowledge" the ballast worked.

Thread fail... S2kpnoy, if the guy is trying to give you a refund but doesn't have the money then you'll have to wait. That is one of a million risks you take when buying used parts. He seems to feel like you've been a dick to him so he is being less helpful. You shouldn't be surprised...

You haven't stated that the item doesn't work, so what exactly is the problem? Used part sales are usually final, so the fact that this guy is even considering giving you a refund is really nice of him.

lets get the bottom line straight, I absolutely will NOT put up with shit from you or anybody else. you'll get your money back, you'll just have to wait for it now.

you were asking for a warranty/guarantee which I do not offer, then you went on and continued to be a dick with "dont get me started" right?

and karma? you started this with your tone, I sure as shit don't need some dumbass wasting my time asking for a guarantee. Enjoy your wait.
The bottom line is i asked for a refund after u couldnt tell me the ballast worked, and then you got all "irate" and thats when i said "dont get me started" because you had yelled at me as soon as i gave you a call, i was going to talk to you in a calm manner but you just blew up on me and thats when this shit escalated.

He's not going to give me a refund i had to call credit card and paypal to get my money back. The problem is he couldnt even tell him in his own words that the ballast works, so am i paying 75 bucks for a ballast that does not work? Nothing was shipped, so it should be easy for him to give me a refund, simple as that, but he wants to give me a hard time.

And also for the record, the following is the guarantee in the paypal memo i wanted from him that he could not oblige by:
"This is payment for driver side AP1 Ballast in good working condition, free of rust and no signs of water entering ballast.
thanks
Richard"

Is it wrong i wanted to confirm an AP1 ballast in working condition? and no signs of water entering ballast?

First off, supply ALL the facts when you blast somebody. I didn't notice prior mention of said part not shipping...

Its unfortunate that you didn't get all your ducks in a row before you remitted payment. I don't know how much of a guarantee you can expect other than him saying it worked when he took it off his car. Hes already said that, so shouldn't that be enough? He can't guarantee the item will ship safely, can he?

IMO I think you're asking for a lot by demanding a guarantee when he demonstrated that the part worked upon last use. I hope the 2 of you can work this out without all the mudslinging that has been done up to this point.
