Im sorry, this is the first bad transaction ive ever had on s2ki and should of stated all the fact. Before i sent any payment, he said it worked via PM, and then when i put that message on paypal, he got all irate and changed his story around to that to his "knowledge" it worked but couldnt "confirm" the ballast worked as my paypal statement suggest. As for a guarantee it will be shipping safely, i dont even think we got to that point, but isnt that what insurance is for? And as for demanding alot on my part, if that was the case then he should of ended it by REFUNDING MY MONEY NOW since nothing was shipped instead of blatantly saying out loud that he will be holding my money for 10 days because it makes him feel good. Am i wrong?

So shouldnt you be going to the place that shipped your Balast?
If he claims it worked or to his "knowledge" before he shipped it and you recieved it in not working order then look in between. If there was insurance on it wouldnt they refund you money ? Just my thought.

 

NOTHING was shipped, this statement was said before he shipped anything. So i have received nor did i get my refund back.

I have meet Rich personally and he is a stand up guy. I am not going to take sides and say who is right and wrong, but if someone asks you if a part works and you cant say yes then you should not be selling. Who would want to come and buy something that is broken unless they clearly want a broken part for something like a mold or parts or of the like. Clearly if Rich is looking for a working ballast, then he already has a broken ballast and does not need to go out and buy another broken ballast. And now for the seller to try to act all tough as if he is holding the 75$ is a little childish as well. The CC will settle this and whether the seller has an s2k or doesnt care about getting banned, he is just making himself look bad

I'm stumped as to how this thread even got started...

what should have happened was: paypal confirmed, dagle sends ballast that was in working order when he took it off his car despite the paypal comments, he should ship it if he still thinks it works fine. Then S2kpnoy tries out the ballast if it is not in proper working order THEN start this thread. Until then it looks like the 2 parties just needed to talk more?
