lmao at the turbo screen! $50 is a joke.

About the mounts though...they did cause the turbo to sit higher in my dad's s2000.

Thanks guys! I heard a few stories of poor fitment issues on their ram horn manifold before I purchased, but gave them the benefit of doubt. I regret having to go through the hassle of purchasing from them. I honestly thought these guys were a reputable company that would stand behind their product. I honestly tried to make the manifold work, but it was just too poorly designed. I lost out on the labor cost, and now have unneeded stress from this situation. Dave Huang is the one I'm dealing with at Track forged, and he will not man up. I hope this review and experience will give other people a heads up on how Track forged deals with their clients. On the rebuttal, he said that all thie manifolds were test fitted prior to shipment. If that was the case, than why did CTD have to drill out the manifold flange holes because it would not clear the studs? Even after drilling, the holes where still misaligned and a mallet had to be used to push them on the studs. Like I said, it was multiply issues that manifold had, not just clearance issues!

Their sidewinder kit fits fine from the reviews but like stated earlier, the ram horn doesn't.

First off We would like to say we have never had an issue with a customer that we haven't tried to resolve! Ever!!!

Now for some details.
This customer contacted us to make a one off ram horn to fit a 6262. 6262 is a longer turbo than a garret so it makes it difficult to make. We spent an excessive amount of time getting it to fit decent. Once the customer received the product he bolted his different turbo up, which then contacted the frame.

It wasn't until after we shipped the product did the customer tell us he was running a different turbo than he had originally ordered the manifold to run. The manifold was returned to see if we could make changes to help fix the problem. All we really needed to have done was have 2mm shaved from the exhaust flange and all would be good and well. At this point the customer decided he didn't want the manifold anymore. Strait up no longer wanted the one off manifold that we custom made for via special order, and wanted all of his money back.

As for the hours of work invested into making a one off manifold for someone we can't justify giving 100% of their money back when the product could have been used. We offered to take only, 25% restocking fee. Yes we offered to give him 75% of his money back. Money back for a product that did its job and was custom made for the specific application.

A few days later we received a charge back for the manifold. We contacted the Credit card company and disputed the charge back and showed all means of resolving regarding the effort on our end to help the customer. We got our charge back, back; The bank sided with us.

It is not to go with out saying, we are very helpful and do go out of our way for our customers. I believe this is the case for the greater majority of shops. We offered 75% of his money back, He tried to take 100% back. That didn't work and here we are.

Evan
