First of all, you guys never offered to give me back 75% of the cost back! It would honestly be a different story right now if you did. Btw, I never got any offer for any kind of reimbursement. You said this manifold will fit a turbo up to a 6262, and I ran the exact same turbo i mentioned. The same turbo i got from the Ultimate racing kit. I have receipts to prove this. Btw, it was not just the exhaust flange that was off. One of the exhaust studs were physically hitting the runner, this made it impossible to thread a nut on. The only way to make this fit was to grind into the exhaust runner which would have significantly thinned out one of the runners. Btw, the bank did not reside with you yet. The dispute is still on going. So far, everything i mentioned was honest. You already lied about the motor mounts altering the lay out of the engine, which is completely BS. I wonder what else you would lie about. The only reason why i had no choice but to run a different manifold was because of all the fitment issues i had with your product. You guys have your manifold back, and if you really want to resolve this, I will give you a call tomorrow and deal with this a a civil manner. How do you also explain the extremely warped 4 bolt flange? There were many issue with this product, and stop trying to make it sound like all it needed was a little grinding. I expected quality work, and excellent customer service, and got neither.

I have been asked to lock this thread but on reading it, have decided not to.

The OP is obviously upset as you can tell from the tone of his posts, but it is also clear from Forged rebuttal that there is a lot more to the story.

Now, my 2c. Sounds like the OP is being a bit difficult. A 75% refund is more than reasonable if half of what Forged say is true. It was the OP who took the issue to the bank and the bank sided with Forged. I would say that it would be good business practice to be magnanimous and non-emotional and still issue the 75% refund, but that's their call.

As to $50 turbo screens, I say if you think it's not worth it, don't buy it. My personal opinion is $50 is quite a cheap price to pay for potentially stuffing your engine but your mileage may vary.

Thanks for not locking this mod, because I never got a offer for a reimbursement. It would be a different story right now if I did. As posted before, I would have been more than happy to take the 75% and delete this post if you would have offered this to me at the beginning.

Ok, let's leave this until you have spoken with Forged and see what you can work out.

Would be interesting to see the pictures though.

I had my fabricator send a letter in to my bank as a second opinion. Vince owns CTD, and I had him attempt to install my manifold. I asked him to write down the issues with the manifold. I'm still running the same turbo off the Ultimate racing kit, my intentions was to get rid of the log manifold and keep everything else. Last time I checked, Track forged does not make turbo specific manifolds, they use a welding jig like everyone else who mass produce these products.

I think what we're more interested in are photos of the fitment problems.

To the mods that think there is more to be said, I've said my piece. I requested that the mods lock this particular thread.

I'm not going to play this he said she said game in public its childish. If you have a problem with our products please contact us directly. The simple fact is, we made what was ordered, we tried to help and WE made it work and it DID fit our test car. It is unfortunate this couldn't be resolved privately.
