Long story short:

-ridiculously slow shipping
-extremely poor communication (actually, no commmunication at all)
-if we could find this part elsewhere, we would have gone with a different vendor altogether

I believe Joey is a good guy and appreciate his support of the S2000 community. However, business is business, and there are absolutely no excuses for horrible business practice. For me personally, some communication could have rectified any issues.

To address the issues in December:

My apologies for the delays. I've been having to travel constantly for work (sleep, work, repeat). Real life has taken priority, and I just haven't had the time. With the economy like this, I can't just quit no matter how much it sucks, because finding a job in IT isn't easy these days. I realize that this is no excuse, as this IS a business, but just asking for some sympathy from fellow S2000 owners. If the job didn't get done, I would have been fired, lose my house, car, and no one would be getting their orders.
Again, my sincerest apologies for all the delays.
Luckily, things have calmed down and will go back to business as usual.

Some background about me and the business
I started JS2k just as a service for painting keyhole covers. Loved the idea, didn't agree with the $30 pricetag. I started making them in my garage during my spare time in college. Things grew a bit but I'm still just a guy who tries to organize everything out of his garage. I am still committed to doing everything I can for my customers.

Rest assured, this won't happen in the forseeable future.

I give to Joey and his products. I have no used keyhole covers on both my S2000's and all the LED bulbs on both of my S2000's.

Joey is a great guy to deal with. Almost all my lights on my AP1 are LEDs from Joey and no complaints. I had an issue with a burnt out license light and he sent me a replacement right away. Great customer service. Everyone needs to realize that Joey has a normal job and JS2K.com is done on the side and with the economy how it is and bills to pay, his normal job has priority.

Just wanted to update my JS2K feedback issue.

Joey did write us to apologize for the late shipment which is all that we wanted. While I don't think that it erases what happened, I probably would give Joey a second chance because he actually cares to fix an issue. Having been on 4-5 car forums, it is rare to find a vendor who actually cares to correct mistakes.

While no one can predict if these issues will recur, you can be sure that Joey won't go missing and will fix any problems that you may have.

Changing my grade to B.

Oh, and that oil drain vavle is a godsend. YAY! to no more jacked up oil changes (pun intended).

I wrote Joey twice because I never received conformation that my order had shipped (placed on 12/23/11). I just received my order in the mail on 1/9/12, but I never got a response from him. I think the next time I order something from him, I would try calling his number and talking to him to get a feel for when he will ship the items and when to expect them to arrive.

I've been on the fence about his AP1 Reverse light LEDs, but apparently they are out of stock.

Joey is a great guy with great customer service but I think he's doing a 1 man business and his personal life is conflicting with business he takes some time to respond but when he does he is great ! He also stands by his products greatly I have the ap1 reverse lights great product also! Very bright and obnoxious lol

Edit:: I also know that it's hard to say he has other priorities even though he is a vender and defend him in such a manner but he needed to be a vender to sell the volume he does on this site I'm sure he will respon as soon as possible

Logistics issue on this one. Sorry about that.

He wrote me an email through S2ki, which went to my personal email, which I don't check often (converted my old YellowStarS2k screenname to this one, so email was never updated).

He finally sent me an email through the normal JS2k.com email address and I responded the next day.

Great customer service

I let Joey know that only ONE of my two chrome bulbs arrived with a crack at the connector.
He sent out a replacement right away; no questions asked.
To my surprise, what arrived was a brand new PAIR of chrome bulbs.

That's the great customer service that I love about JS2K.com. If you have an issue, he has no hesitation to make sure it gets taken care of right away. I just placed another order for some items yesterday! Joey is a great guy and don't hesitate to buy any of his products!

i have purchased from js2k several times for the keyhole plugs for myself and other locals and the experience went quick and easy. still hoping he will make me some oem platinum pearl white colored ones
