Wow you gave him a refund?????? I wouldn't have done it and would have told him suck it up boy. You didn't buy insurance not my fault at all. He should have known most sellers do not include insurance on item sent. It's the buyers choice to pay for it or not. In this case he should have paid for it for buying such a pricey item
Caveat Emptor at its fullest huh? If the package was inadequately packaged the seller is the only one at fault. Even with insurance, they would investigate and likely deny the claim if it was because of the packaging. Of course, I have no idea whether it was damaged because of packaging or becuase of DHL's handling, but its hard to blame the buyer when all he does is pay and answer the door bell. He expected to get the product in a certain condition, he didn't... only seems right to get a refund.

So you think your packaging was good when you use office scotch tape to put the box back together? And you say alil pressure was applied which what damaged the wing? This is a Js CFRP Wing. Hundreds of pounds of air pressure is applied on this wing and you think just "a little" pressure broke it. Righttttt. Again something must have fallen on it for it to break.

I care about my reputation on this site, which was the biggest reason why I even took the wing back from the SHIPPING COMPANY that damaged it.

I have sold many items and have had ZERO complaints except from you.

-GP Sports bumper
-GP Sports Side skirts
-GP Sports Rear Strakes
-Volk GTNs
-Js CF diffuser
-Cusco 6 pt Cage
-Bride Zeta 3 seats
-Bride LowMax Rails
-TEIN Flex Coilovers
-OEM bumper
-OEM Hardtop
-OEM Fenders
-RSR Exhaust
-OEM knob
-OEM wind guard
-OEM AP1 spoiler
-AP2 v2 wheels
-DC Stainless Header
-JDM Headlights
-HID bulbs
-OEM Valve Cover
-2 sets S2X Splitters
-Eclipse Double Din H.U.
-Rays Volk Lug Nuts
-Xbox 360
-Xbox Games
-Valentine V1 Radar Detector
-Eyelids
-JDM Side Markers
-C-West Body kit

I told you sorry that this had to happen, But I dont know what else I had to do to please you for something that wasnt my fault. I sold the Wing in perfect condition and now I lost almost $200 and now I have a BROKEN WING instead.

If the package was packed decent and insurance was bought. The shipping company would be responsible for the damage. Next time before buying something that over 500.00 you should consider insurance.

That may be right, but under the law, a buyer still has certain implied warranties unless the seller specifically states that the item is sold "as is." IMO a seller should pay for insurance when the item is breakable regardless to protect themselves, include it in FS price if need be.

totally agree. sellers should buy the insurance to cover themselves. it is not the buyers responsibility. %90 of people here don't request insurance. how am I gonna know if the item is not already damages before the sale. if the insurance is made sellers responsibility, it'll prevent all these from happening.

wow this thread is a waste...gotta dig through a myriad of bitching war posts just to get any information, then in the end, no one can really tell who's at fault cuz both sides happen to have their own arguments...it's like a writing competition. The person who writes the best and uses English the most fluently wins. It's not like anyone was there to see these transactions first hand to confirm the facts anyway...

:: sigh ::

Local transactions ftw....

I've learned my lesson and am VERY hesitant to buy anything not local now. I try my best to sell everything locally too, to avoid ANY problems.

Dude, the gold work meister... I offered to pay it RIGHT AWAY, but he stalled forever.. moving the deal to his friend to take care off, won't remove bald tires, why should I waste money on extra weight on shipping (gas is high) and money to remove bald tires? I had the money when he started the threadd (go check the dates). Then my tuition, bills and mortgage and insurance came up. So I have priorities.

I'll just hit Riley up for new wheels for $400 bucks more.

BTW, I called him today and he was being sketchy. I'm str8 on that.
Woah b4 you say false things about our deal, and call me "sketchy," why don't we just show how difficult you were. I bent over backwards to do YOU a favor. I NEVER advertised I would ship and repeatedly told you that I wouldn't. After you made a big fuss on my thread and after I finally agreed to ship to you, I've been nothing but accomodating to you, yet you still were a pain in the ass. You are even trying to trash my new for sale thread! I was going to stay silent, but you continue to cause trouble and now I see that you are twisting facts about me. So here's our convos: you guys can decide for yourself if u want to do business with this guy, that is IF you want to take the time to read everything. He's created nothing but needless drama for me. If you can deal with that then fine, up to you.

BTW #1, After i succumbed to your begging me to ship, you STILL said you had cash in hand and we arranged for immediate payment/shipping. #2, You KNEW I advertised that the wheels had the tires on them still, I only asked you if you cared if I took them off if it provided me shipping savings and IF you did not want them. #3, I only looked for a friend to help me ship, just to accomodate YOU b/c I wasn't even planning on shipping. Tell the truth before you trash an honest dealer. I did absolutely nothing wrong, went out of my way to make a good deal with you, yet you try to trash me? Unheard of.
