Could this problem with the bys be because the spoiler was installed over the emblem. Over tightening the bolts causing added pressure around the emblem resulting in a crack. Plus if the spoiler is installed over the emblem could that cause the spoiler to be at an awkward angle and the other cracks and paint chips caused by shutting the trunk lid and the spoiler comming in contact with the rear quarter panels? Just a thought.

Hope this helps.

It's going to need more than wet sanded. There are actual bumps over the area covered.

I bought my J's half lip from jdmghostrider. I can vouch for his honesty. before i purchased the lip from him, he made sure that i knew there was minor damage on the lip due to scraping on the ground. when i picked the lip up, it was how he described it. no surprises.

I wish I would've been able to pick this up and been able to see it in person before I paid for it... but unfortunately it's on the other side of the country so I went based off of the description and the pics on his 2nd for sale thread and what he pm'd me. Also, was no link to the 1st for sale thread mentioning anything about wet sanding or any of the issues that have came up. I do not doubt he is a good guy. But that does not change the fact I have a spoiler that I did not know need this much work or needed any work at all.

[QUOTE=jdmghostrider,Jul 17 2007, 10:19 PM] I actually did disclose that information in my first FS thread.

pics of the box it was shipped in w/ signature as requested?

i agree with f20c_rice, tightening bolts before checking might crack/deform something. i'm not defending jay but i've seen his car and its in pretty good condition when the bys was on it.

also out of curiosity, did you notice this before installing or after?

Something doesn't seem right about the wing. Even if it was a replica they fit perfectly.
First off, I will personally vouch for JDMGhostrider and his character. He has bought things from me, and has always been straight up. His wing fit well and the paint was good.

Not looking to start any problems, by quoting your comment, but what you stated is untrue. The wing is not perfect, even from BYS, and MANY of the replicas fit even worse. It's a nice wing, but many (authentic or not) were not perfect.

Im leaving in 10min for a business meeting about an hour away and will not be back until late friday. BseriouS is the guy that actually shipped the item and the box was in excellent when it arrived.

As for the second part did you not read my response? It getting to the point that I feel I like a broken record.
