Should I be getting new screws for this when I do it? Lots of wind noise in my new to me 01. I would also appreciate pictures from the OP if they are available.

Is there a trick to getting the top panel off? I was going to just remove the light (since the only 90 degree bit I have is huge and doesn't fit well into the space anyways), but it doesn't seem to want to pop out just by pulling on it towards the center (the edges popped off fine) and I don't want to force it. I couldn't see any obvious screws, or get the light out with a flat edge screwdriver with some tape around it (the way I pop off most trim pieces).

**EDIT:** Almost right after posting I noticed the tabs that needed to be popped out; for others who missed them, look roughly where the screwdriver is pointing in this picture (on both sides), towards the back of the light.

And, just for fun, a comparison:

Is there a way to adjust the strikers left/right? My driver side one doesn't line up with the soft top latch perfectly while my passenger side one does...
