The 991.1 GT3 RS was 4s quicker than the 991.1 GT3, so if a similar margin is maintained then it must be on for a 7:06-7:08 !

 

My old S2000 was just as quick as a GT3 :

 

T'is a bit crazy how quick road cars are getting around the ring now. its faintly ridiculous that a car you can use Day to day, can blast round the ring just a minute slower than Bellof's record in a Porsche 956!

Yet road average speeds remain largely unchanged - since the days of horse n' cart in the case of London.

I think that discrepancy is part of the problem why such cars seem perhaps increasingly esoteric.

 

The back of my fag packet says that at the point Bellof crossed the line your GT3 would be a little over 2 MILES back up the road. Cars have got faster (what hasn't) but I'm not sure the comparison means very much.
