Thank you Dave. Breaks my heart a little to see how sad the house is now. It wasn't an upscale neighborhood when we lived there either , but the house was well maintained.

The house I showed was my mother's dream house after renting for years. My parents always maintained it well. When it was sold the new owners did nothing but let it run down - both the house and the yard. Several years later they sold it and the newest owners fixed it up. You never can tell what might happen. I know it's hard to see the old homestead go down hill.

I did not bring home a cat on Wednesday. I liked Honey but she wasn't as affectionate as I expected her to be. She very well could end up being that way but I don't want to take her home and find out she isn't and then get stuck with a third non-lap cat. I'm going to be sure before I bring home a third cat.

^This is one of Ricky's paper plate drawings. I saw it when I got my coffee this morning. He leaves them for me often.

I love Ricky's artwork!

This rainy weather is most annoying. The lilacs got beat up, other flowering trees didn't have much time to show off their spring blooms either. My daisies have opened. Grabbed a couple shots with raindrops on them........while it was still raining...

We visited a botanical garden yesterday (will post flower pics another time), and realized we were in the same area as this old historic church (the remains of it). They often display a flag on the side of the church, and I got lucky, the flag was out and I caught a great reflection as well. A couple shots.

Wow, that first one is a show stopper - that's as good as they get.
