Cute photo!

Little blurb on how to take photos of fireworks. Everyone have safe and sane 4th!

Some more of my waterfall travels.... Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Went there because the NJ Parks were all closed with the state government shutdown. About 2 hours drive each way through some very scenic NorthWest NJ and NorthEast PA areas.

Sunrise on the 4th...clouds moving in, though, with a chance of t-storms later. That won't be fun for all those people on the Mall for the celebration.

Love the photos of the running water with deep slow moving areas. Nice photos!

Think it tends to rain the day after Independence Day, due to all the firework remnants in the air?

Granddaughter gets cuter all the time, Dave.

One of the younger Y ladies has a little boy age 5. He's a bundle of energy with sparkling eyes and long long eyelashes. I had been wanting to take a few photos of him and we found some times yesterday. He was a great subject, willing to pose and worked hard for that cone of ice cream I bought him when we were done. I used both my older camera with the 50 mm and the new one with the 18-200. These are both taken with the 50. Love the bokeh.

Some shadows on his face from the sun, and should have done a better job with hand placement, but hey, I usually take pics of flowers!

Speaking of flowers, I liked the center of this one...

Local Fireworks. Not a bad show...

Resized first after I realized that my other shots are all BIG on screen. Sorry about that.

Our local fireworks display. The first few aerials definitely got everyone's attention. The moon tried to help out, too.
