Any pictures of the Silver with the blue top??

 

Alas, no pictures just yet. I don't have a digital camera, but I'll try to find a way to get some pictures soon.

It's a fairly striking color combo!

 

I have a black 00 and i got mine retro fitted about two weeks ago
looks great and is a lot better than the cheap plastic!!

The reason I got my top retro-fitted was because it got vandalized and the
top got cut. I went to the body shop where my insurance paid for the top.
The body shop called the california honda shop that did.... i cant remember
their handle name. no the defroster is not hooked up yet, not sure if iam
even going to install it, really no need for me.

reds2, Yeah I know eimea did thanks. I just wanted to find out about other people's experiences on retrofitting to see what route I should take. I do want the defroster hooked up though and I know there is a missing segment of wire that is not on 00/01 cars.

The route I would really like to take is to get myself a new top and do the retrofit myself. I know onequicks2k did it himself, anyone else have an idea how complex of a job it would be?

 

Yeah, it sounds pretty straight forward from what OneQuickS2k wrote. I just have to get around to getting the parts and figuring it out. I emailed H and A Accessories a couple weeks ago and they said that they only are selling the blue 02 top and don't have the black 02 top for sale. I do know that when I do it, I'm going to document it and take pictures so it'll make it easier for others that want to retrofit themselves.
