Mobil 1 is a synthetic oil ................... Mobil Drive Clean 10W-30 is regular petroleum based oil. If you look at a quart of Honda motor oil, it has the Mobil logo on it.

This Service Bulletin came out in the fall of 2001, Honda address break-in, oil consumption, and when to use synthetic motor oil.

On a side note:
I'm not a real fan of Quaker State. Although they have most likely fixed their issues by now, I got "gooned" once and I've had this "thing" about QS ever since. I experienced problems with QS causing sludge build up in my engines requiring me to do repeated engine flushes. This was a well known problem at the time which was talked about in technical schools everywhere and was also evidenced in the news at the time (more than 10 years ago).

Actually, on an additional note, is it okay to top up the oil with a different brand? I got the car back from a garage and they put in an unknown "high performance" oil, so I'm not sure what to top it up with. Would I be okay either way?

 

First, there is no need for "high performance" oil but if it makes you think the car goes better, then who am I too argue.
Second, you must determine if the "high performance" oil is synthetic or "dino" (regular oil). As for brands, it doesn't really matter as long as it is a well known name and meets the specs (for viscosity and API service rating) as indicated in your owner's manual. In an emergency, you can mix synthetic with dino (till you get it sorted out).
