I've just found out from my bodywork guy that my S2k rear wheel arch rust is more than just a little paint bubbling. Turns out the whole inner arch/wheel tub is borked and it's not a job he's able to do for me.

Does anyone know of any trustworthy rust repair/bodywork specialists around the Cheshire/Manchester area? (preferably someone who won't break the bank).

I'm a little worried this could be a substantial job and may carry a hefty price but I'm honestly not too sure.

If only I knew anything about welding. Still, it's good to know they won't have to completely fabricate it all from scratch!

If you are deffo going ahead I would order the panels, often a lead time.

I am near Chipping Norton and we have a very good chap at that sort of thing in the village https://www.harbodsmotorbody.co.uk/ He does a lot of bare metal restorations of Porche's Aston Martin Jaguars etc. I did ask his opinion on that sort of preformed panel. And he said they weren't worth the bother,

I know nothing but received wisdom to comment either way but I have not seen an arch made from scratch. That is probably rare skill.
