I'm trying to upload a new image that has been resized correctly and is a jpeg. When I try to post it the old image remains but is distorted.

Can you help me?

Put it up in your post so people in the know can look at it and analyze it. Maybe there's something weird about it.

This is freaking me out. When I try to change my avatar to a previous one (I'm SURE it works), the one you see keeps coming back.

I see that it is the proper size, "byte" wise. However, it is 100 X 104 pixels. I think it has to be no bigger than 100 X 100. That pic might just be over the limit. Size it down by about 3% or so and try again.
