You are free to not participate if it bores you, Gregg. There are many other threads out there that have run their due course, but I don't see anyone, members or moderators, running around telling those still participating in those threads to stop.

RoadTrip, Luder94 and many others have basically said the same things I have, and no less hostile or inflammatory -- perhaps you guys should flame them as well?

I know I made myself an easy target for you guys by sticking my neck out. I don't regret it. I have nothing to hide or be ashamed of in any post I have written in the past. You can check with the moderators if I have said anything reprehensible. I have had quite a number of people publicly agree, but I am not keeping score -- just wondering why its so tempting to find one target and stay with it when there are many.

Its not just me, I just happen to be the most visible.

As for my participation in this or any other thread, Fogged, I will interject when I feel it is necessary. In this case I was congratulating a fellow subscriber for writing a very insightful and poignant post. If I remember correctly, the ownership has the right to limit my priviledge to post here, not you. I truly do not appreciate your attempts to throttle my on-topic posts.

As for asking to "bring the crosses down," I'm sure an educated individual such as yourself can see the reference to a martyr's death and his display before all. Even simpletons like Jeff and I could see it. I'm not asking to close the thread (if only because some people's ramblings amuse me greatly), just that we stop looking at Bieg's banning like some cause celebre. It's over, it's done. The ownership has stated their policies once again. They aren't going to change them anytime soon. For all the PM's you get, we get just as many. Move on. (See, I didn't use caps. I saying this very softly with a small sigh at the end.)

Greg, no you didn't and I'll bet is was a really good game. I will definately agree with this about your name sake. Did your trip go well? Sorry about bowing out I had an early post call! Man I could hardly keep up with the typing. I'm not that good of a typist. I did enjoy the dicussion. I hadn't done that for about 6 years. Generally, speaking why is it so much easier to accept the conversations there. Seems like it just flows. You never did come back and tell me what a Putz was.

 

Why is this turning into " I wasn't talking to you, I was talking to XX" . If you want private conversations, PM the person but do not accuse others for posting to an open thread.

I think what was done wasn't right but it is done. I think we have right to discuss the policies and the whole concept generally. This doesn't mean Bieg is the subject of the conversation here. I think Luder intended to discuss this generally. (at least, that is how
I understood it)

I posted to one thread about this whole thing and it got locked. I wanted to stay out of it but I'll say what I think from now on.

I think there are enough members supporting both opinions although like SilverFog said some are intimitated to speak up.
