Default Does vbulleting support mailing list style push emails

I am looking to setup a bulletin board at work and need to find a package that combines a typical eamil mailing list and a bulleting board.

If a user prefers to get every single post in an email, then we would select something in his settings. Then when the user replies by email, the reply would make it into the thread in the bulletin.

Some users prefer to read the threads in the bulleting board; so they would use the typical bulleting board such as this one.

Is anyone aware of a package that can do this? Is this package capable of doing this?

Your help is appreciated.

Check out Lyris Listmanager . Although its roots are as a listserver, there has been a web interface for years where registered users can view the threads and perform account management.

Here's a little flash movie they have explaining the product: http://www.lyris.com/products/listmanager/...ls/llmflash.exe

It appears that Lyris is now gearing the product towards direct marketers but it should do what you want. Pricing has always been a positive in their favor as well, providing a free version for limited use.
