Email addresses were visible, now they are not. I SO prefer to have them visible if the user decides to make it so. I guess I don't understand that if the user chooses to make it available to everyone then why does s2ki hide it? It sure would be nice not to have emailing in a web interface. Now there is no record of the email and I can't refer to it, if necessary...

Am I missing something?

Yup.

There are spiders that can get the e-mail addresses. So we removed them for all of your safety.

Sorry if it's an inconvenience, but that is how it's gonna stay for now.

Maybe at somepoint, but we have a pretty tall list of todos.

Most e-mail clients have mailing list/contact managers. Why can't they be used?

Fixing it to allow you to get their email after submitting password is the way to go.

This also would allow for logging the "get"er's IP at that time, in case any hacking/other issues ever came up.

It already requires that you are logged in. But there is nothing stopping someone from creating an account and using one of the spiders.

Sorry guys,
There is no reason you can't use the form. And you get the user's e-mail address when they reply.

You can also use pms.

Community Organizers have access to email addresses. If you are one and don't know what I'm talking about, PM me.
