Just put my VIN into my profile to see whether it became public information. I discovered it does.

Does it bother anyone to have their VIN in public view?

I'd have thought this could pose a problem if it is viewable by unregistered members in that they could use anyone's VIN to sign up.

However, when I click on your username to view your profile I can NOT see your VIN (assuming you still have it entered and haven't removed it).

- editing a post without stating it has been edited... (like it says down below)
- being able to disable the box from popping up when a PM is received...
- allowing me to post in the FOR SALE forum

hopefully this is being checked still... so I will post in here and create a thread...

With your PM's on the previous format... when you had a new one... a big yellow tab would appear next to mys2k. With the new setup... you have to have spidy-senses to know you have one. I'll overlook that Times New Roman Font- "1 PMs" at least a couple times before I see that someone sent me a PM.

Can we bring back that yellow tab... or another alert system (other than email... I do not need my inboxes riddled with them)?

Thanks...

How long before the site will be up to normal speed? Sometimes the pages load right up, then I may wait up to a minute for some other.

Is it possible to have the last page option for threads when you click on "mys2k" ? As of right now it only allows to to see the thread... this way we don't have to open to the first page and then scroll thru to find where we last read up to?

Thanks
J

This would be really great if we had it in the For Sale and GB forums so we don't have to scroll thru all the threads.
