Default Finding old threads

I've been trying to dig up some >2 year old threads, without success. Suggestions on special search methods, back doors, or should I just get a new hobby?

Muchos gracias!

I think the consensus is that search is borked. I'm not quite sure what the solution is other than a very messy and time consuming overhaul. We'll see what we can work out.

Search is reindexing, but because of our load issues I can only index for a couple hours each night. It's currenlty only half way thru the reindex :| It'll do a bigger chuck this weekend.

You can use the search button up ^^^ to search for all the threads of a user.

Ummm... I don't think so. I still cannot find messages I posted more than 2 years ago. This problem was what prompted me to ask the following question last week:

How long are messaged kept on this board?

So it looks like search is still broken.
