I think founding members of s2ki (memberships less then 1000) should get a fancy badge or something

We're the guys that all jumped off the first S2000 web site/club back in 1999 and set up shop here!

That sounds right if I remember.

 

The first one was S2000fans.com. It was owned by the same people and it morphed into the S2Ki you see today. S2KCA used to exist as a subset (forum) on this board before they went their own separate way.

S2000fans.com was first (honda-gal) and everyone used honda-acura.net for the forums. honda-acura kept crashing and more than once when they came back they didn't have recent backups. So cthree started S2000online.com. S2000 fans continued as a car registry mostly w/o forums. At some point s2000fans created s2000 international (s2ki.com) as a club w/ a BOD. Most of the original board members are the same people who started s2kca (greg stevens, sondra, brad, etc). later honda gal and cthree decided s2000 international and s2000 online should be merged, the s2ki.com name was used. The "board members" from s2ki decided to start their own club at this point and called it s2kca. Initially they had their forums here. Later they decided to start own forums. In 2003 we got a C&D from honda about using the s2000 name at which time the site was renamed to s2k international.

There was lots of drama between every change too. Boy I don't miss that.

Didn't know all those details.

 

I was on all of those early boards even before I got my S delivered in September 1999.

 

So....how do I get my stinkin' First 1000 badge

When I joined S2000 fans, I thought Shelly would take the #1 spot, but for some reason, she didn't. So I got it.
Also got my S on 9/20/99, I think it was. They were delivered on a Friday and I took mine home Saturday. Still have it, 65000 miles, and it's my wife's daily driver.
