I've removed most of the recent garbage with the exception of HG's posts but hopefully she will choose to remove hers as well. Our potty mouthed friend doesn't have any bearing on the direction of the site so it's safe to ignore whatever he might have said.

This is not the right place to say so but I ask that if you reply to garbage you not quote it. If you do I need to remove your post as well to clean it up. If you don't care fine but just so you know...

For the past 2 hours I've been playing collections agent for a member who bought and paid for something from someone else and didn't get it. It's Saturday, it's 6:47PM, I'm hungry and I really don't like doing this. No the seller was and is not a member and no I can't say it would have mattered but I also can't say the opposite. What it is doesn't work so we are going to try something else.

I sold a hardtop to a member today. He came by, we installed it and he left a happy guy (I hope). He also told me that he traded some wheels for some different wheels (Volks for stock) plus cash. The cash turned out to be counterfeit. How's that for fun? Cops won't do anything because he can't prove he got the cash from the guy (seems you need to take a picture of the guy actually handing it to you and have five eye-witnesses before they can do anything).

My perception of this situation is not be swayed toward changing my mind. I do change my mind. I've changed my mind about the Library thing even if I haven't told anyone yet, I will. So yes I do listen to opinion. That opinion shapes mine and I make decisions based on it. Not in this case.

The change to allow the posting of new For Sale forum topics to Members only stands. Not only does it stand, I did it already. I don't think further input on the topic is going to change anything at least not anytime soon so I think it best we put this to rest. Love it, like it, hate it or don't care it doesn't matter now. It is what it is and we'll all need to cope with it now. I appreciate all of your candid input (well not all of it). It's important that you state your feelings on these things so I know what they are and can act accordingly. However, this pudding is now set.
