I could have been more clear in my PM by saying "we don't allow links to sites that contain porn or other objectionable material" but I figured it would be clear by the fact that I singled out duderick's site in the next sentence. Yup. That's what I said. Because the bottom line is I would have gotten it edited. I wouldn't have done it personally. If you want verification ask Ludedude because we were discussing it when it changed. We both assumed you did it.

 

I understand the point about the site in question, I don't have a problem with that, and I hadn't browed the porn there by then, and I understand why S2KI doesn't want that linked to it. It seems that I just don't get how things get done around here and it's a bit confusing and comes off a bit strongarmed. I've been posting out of anger here (and that's no good) and seems there is quite a bit of confusion going around about how this stuff works.

for clarification, I posted this thread *after* the link was edited which is why I still felt justified to a 'reason' since I wasn't the one to do it. I'm confused now on what exactly has happened, but the end result is the same so it doesn't matter now...... what a trainwreck

 

Only me, krazik and HondaGal can edit your sig besides you. Nobody else has access to the forum's admin features. Well, either you changed it or one of us did but that's not important. I think you did get your concern addressed. I apologize for the initial confusion but your question wasn't clear about whether you were looking for the rule of law your signature violated or if you wanted to understand the real reason your signature required modification. Message communication tends to be easily misunderstood.
