My avatar is not showing.

 

The ads are overpowering my computer. I have to fight to post anything.

On my home computer I can't see photos.

But I always have the ads as small consolation.

I'm not looking at them. So why ruin the site by having them?

 

Please try re-uploading your avatar by going to your User CP's Edit Avatar page. If you still don't see it after re-uploading, please let me know.

My apologies that ads have been bogging down your experience. We try to keep them as unintrusive as possible. Are you logged in or logged out when you experience these issues? Also, can you please let me know if you're browsing the site on a PC, Mac, or mobile device, as well as what web browser you're using (i.e. Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Internet Explorer)?

Is it okay to post images from your personal album here on other forums as well?

 

If they're your images, you should be able to do whatever you want with them. You don't give up ownership just because they're posted here. (I'm not a copyright or intellectual property lawyer, but I haven't seen anything that says you give up your ownership rights when you post pictures here unless it's in that 2 point type on page 4632 of the registration page )

Bogging down with ads: When logged in. Using Internet Explorer at work and Chrome at home. I've been trying Monzilla at home as well. It's really frustrating. Fan always comes on. Often, I have to just close my browser and go back to work. Happened two times today while at work.

 

Still getting ad pop-ups on my mobile. Pretty annoying. Know what else is annoying? Those damn curated content editors. Holy shit.

 

I still cannot use the "tool" that allows you to insert images from links. As soon as I start typing, it erases what I wrote. I'm using Firefox. Any plans to fix this? I think I tried it with Chrome and it does the same. Seems like I can only include images by uploading them to my album and then using that link.. Can SOMEONE please fix this or you might as well remove that "feature" as it's garbage.
