Ok then, this issue is settled.
To clarify, the environment here is too contentious and toxic to make any significant changes to the site let alone having a thoughtful discussion of the possibility of same. Therefore I am unwilling to jump in front of this bus and this proposal or any variation of it is dead at the scene.
If you came to this topic expecting to discuss the issues and offer considered feedback on the proposed changes then I am sorry for wasting your time. An angry mob set it on fire and burned it down.
