FWIW, I am a dues paying member of S2Ki, not S2KCA so here it goes:

As a coordinator of S2KDays and a dues paying member of S2Ki I am extremley pissed off. This new policy is so obviously aimed directly at S2KDays. I don't give a damn who's event it is. This forum has been slow for some time now and it's time to get some excitement going in here.

S2Ki Directors - Not that it will make any difference, but S2KCA membership is NOT required for attendance at S2KDays! There, are you happy? Greg and I have made this very clear to Krazik and nothing has come of it yet. Everyone needs to loosen the hell up so we can start having fun as a community. Duh.

BTW, the directors/presidents of both of these organizations should be ashamed of themselves. The S2000 community looks up to you to bring us together, yet you are all trying your hardest to tear it apart. Don't you get it...

Sondra posted only in the Central TX forum b/c she was soliciting help, not to advertise it. She has no need to promote it locally, as us Austinites are going to be an easy sell anyway. However, it wouldn

They say that hindsight is always 20/20.

Sondra should have posted a thread asking for help to organize the event with a link. Not using s2ki.com as the planning (really, advertising) platform.

I don't want to begin to get involved in the politics between these two "For the good of the S2000 community" organizations.

I was and still am interested in going to the S2K Days event, (BTW, currently not a member of S2KCA) and even began a thread on the Houston site to let people know of Sondra's thread.

In an attempt to offer a solution that both parties might accept so that the info can be shared by everyone concerned.

It is not unusual for an organization to have two different fees for members and non-members for sponsered events.

Do us, S2000 owners, a favor, fix this political BS, so we can do what it is we really enjoy.

The Central Texas Forum is where anything pertaining to the region was discussed S2KCA, SPOKES, SCCA, whatever. The post was in place before the "policy change" was put in place only yesterday.

I can't be party to this, I feel it is wrong although I'm not taking sides. I'm not a current S2KCA member nor a S2Ki member. Until today I was a Community Organizer previously in the NT Forum (one of the first, thank you, cthree) and the Central Tx Forum. I no longer want any part of this mess. It can only serve to hurt the value of this board not to promote any events available to S2000 enthusiasts. The owner of this board can of course do whatever he sees fit but do the paying members have a say?

Sorry, this isn't up for discussion right now. The policy is clear.

S2KCA(greg) has (this morning) told me in an email that there is no membership required to attend. Which was a good sign.

Yet I couldn't find it mentioned anywhere on the site. So I asked if it could be posted somethere clearly and I was told

"Sorry, but we don
