Criminee, it's bad enough I'm addicted to my S2K, but now that I'm addicted to S2KI, I have to buy a new computer!

I've got this puny iMac that I've been using for a few years, but since S2KI is fairly graphic-heavy, my machine simply can't handle the load. I've maxxed out the memory, but it's time to upgrade to another Mac with more power, RAM, and the extra goodies I need to post pics, etc.

I've just convinced my wife that I need to buy it, 'cuz I'm told her it's for business; then - she can have my old iMac. Life is beautiful.

S2KI... Doing our part to jump start the economy

 

I thought that there are things on this forum and this site that do not work well or not at all with a Mac.

 

Probably true. At home I use AOL on a regular dial-up modem. At work, I'm on a super-fast PC with DSL, and I'm
flying through S2KI. It's awesome. So awesome that I've always got S2KI minimized on my screen, so when
no one's looking, I'm surfing through the forums. When the boss comes around, it's a simple click and I'm back
at work.

Nope S2KI works perfectly well on the mac (with IE)

 

krazik and I both have Macs we use to test on. I use it to surf the board most days.

 

On my G3/cable modem setup I get much better speed with Mozilla as a browser vs. IE 5.1

It seems like IE "bogs down" after a while and just performs very sluggishly. hth
