Just thought of a suggestion... I've been trying to do a lot of research for ECU Tuning for the MY06+ and have been running into some dead ends. Also, whenever a discussion about tuning is started, there seems to always be a mix between of what MY S2K people are talking about and how some tuning works on "that" MY but not "this" MY.

I've also noticed that while I've been doing all this searching, I've come across threads that were posted but weren't seen because it was in a mix of a whole bunch of other threads related to different MY's.

I figured it would be convenient for MY06+ ECU Tuning to have it's own sub-forum for the ease of following what's new that's coming out since the tuning is completely different than the MY prior to 06. Every other performance part is ok being mixed in with all other MY S2K's because they're pretty much all compatible with each other except for some minor minor differences. The only thing that is really, truly, completely different is the tuning of the ECU.

So I was wondering if the ADMINS of s2ki could come up with or open up a sub-forum related only to MY06+ ECU Tuning.

I am sure that if Hondata sponsored it, it would be created. But at this point, they are the only one that offer to reprogram the 06+ ECU. It is costly and few have had it done. So I really don't think we need a whole sub forum for that. If we don't have one for tuning in general, where would you put a 06+ tuning sub forum anyway?

 

You do have a point, but there are a lot of people on here doing tuning on their S2K's... so I can see how it would be convevient to have a tuning forum.

As for the 06+, there are other options other than just the Hondata Reflash. There's also the AEM EMS with it's harness and I think, not sure though, I think V-AFC-II are now compatible with the 06+ models.

No need - We have forums that cover it - it's all demand related. If people post about 06+ tuning then that's all that is needed

 

Im down with with that. I just got a vafc II for my 06 but im running into dead ends to about it. I might return it if its not going to work. My headers are coming in soon. I would love some info about that.
