Default Truth about the AFC?

I have read people saying that the S2K ECU will override the AFC settings after adjusting to it after a week or two. Is there any REAL truth to this or is it just people speculating and spreading false information? I searched this site extensively but I never came up with anything concrete, just rumors and guesses. This won't be a big deal to me as you can just pull a fuse and reset it every week while your AFC settings stay intact... but is this really the truth? Does anyone actually have any first hand experience with this or is it all he-said-she-said information? I have a Neo coming in so I am just curious on if I should take the time to rig up a little switch to reset the ECU a bit easier. Thanks in advanced.

its a half truth. the ecu wont totally override your settings, it will fight back though. my advice is to tune your vafc to modify at WOT, then you NEVER have to reset your ecu.
