Default Talk over-moderated

This doesn't pertain to S2000 discussion, but the tone of this Talk section.
It has changed.

Other sections have more to offer.
That is just my opinion. Although not a OG, I've been here for a bit.
This section is getting as annoying as Politics can be at times.

Didn't you hear? We live in a police state, and the government is monitoring everything we say on here.

Agreed. Certain threads being locked constantly does not make sense at times. I understand that if someone is trolling and/or intentionally wasting board space, that's one thing. But certain mods (I won't mention user names) seem to go way overboard (no pun intended). Like locking a topic because someone bumped an old thread and telling them to start a new one... Forum rules, but that makes no sense, and just creates more (sometimes) useless threads. Just one example. I sometimes wonder if some of the mods have absolutely nothing better to do than staying online, monitoring this board.. Do you guys get paid to do this?? lol

I like this forum more than any other S2000 forum, and I'm certainly no OG. Just my thoughts on the situation...

I have to agree with you on the old thread bump. A lot of DIY's people spend time into making get locked because somebody bump them. It's shame that the people who use the search function end up hurting the OP's thread. I understand there are rules, but the text book enforcement of anything without the input of common sense or courtesy seems to be a bit excessive.

You're not the only one who feels that way. It's almost like forum activity is frowned upon. Things like discussions and questions seem to be discouraged esp if it's been asked before. I say the more data and info the better.

Just because some information may already exist in textbooks and encyclopedias doesn't mean we may still have a desire to teach someone the information.
