Default 2005 s2k

hey guys and girls,

i am thinking about trading my '02 in for
a new left-over '04 or '05. any significant
things i should be concerned about between
the '04 and '05?

i know there was some discussion about the
change in engine and driving feel/control when
moving from earlier years into the '04.

but as joey once said, i am a slow-assed driver!
(or words to that effect) so, i may not notice
the difference.

happy new year to you all!

I have never been in a pre-04, so can't advise you about the difference. However, my 05 is great! Seems rather refined and works well as a daily driver. If your buying new, I would not go for an 04. Most of the so called "experts" say that when faced with a choice between the end of one model year or the beginning of the next, it is financially prudent to go with the latest model. Besides, 05 sounds better than 04.

Fitness, not sure if you have your set on a particular color, but the NFR w/ the black/tan interior combo is just downright sweet.

If you haven't seen it yet, send a PM to Scott Evil in the OH forum. A few weeks back I had a dream (or maybe I should call it a nightmare) that my S was stolen. In the dream, I started off being upset but then realized "hey, I can get the NFR black/tan now"!

I'm sure quite a few of the members have driven in MY00 - MY03 and MY04+. I know KeithD has auto-xed in both his car (MY01) and Sonic's car (MY04). He can offer you some insight into the differences that exist.

I just checked the Honda website. They DO NOT offer a Red/Tan from the factory.

Ummmmm, I thought they did. I know for sure that that's what Scott Evil has. I'll see if I can go dig up some pictures of it....
