Its not the pp its just the sruggle of a racing bucket in a car with a fixed column. Sliding in and out will ruin the fabric on the seat in a year.

A few different companies sell a bolster protector, Recaro included, that could possibly solve this problem. I've never used one, as the bolsters on my Momo Supercup don't seem to wear.

Im too fat and too old to daily a racing seat, 5-8 240lb....there i said it. Most ppl dont track or track rarely. I track often so i still feel like i get my moneys worth out of the seat without using it on the street. The hardest thing to deal with on the pp is the narrow shoulders which make it fit so good in the car. The belt holes are a couple inches too low as well. With the butt pad in place my belts hit the top of the slots and sinching them to track tight hurts my back. Removing the butt pad makes it perfect. Im not at all disapointed with ghe pp. I honestly think its the best seat for someone on a budget.

Jeff, I think you can trim the butt pad so it's thinner. You won't have to take it out then. It's what i still need to do with mine.

What belt/harness system are you guys using? If I go with a racing seat like the pole position I would ideally like to use the OEM 3 point seat belt but I would have to loop the belt through the holes in the sides of the seat. From what I've read, this might require a seat belt clip extender. Thoughts?

What you need is pretty well documented on this site, so I'd do a bit of googling and I'm 100% certain you'll find a thread on what specifically you'll need for the pole position with a 3-point belt. I know 3 people personally that daily their cars and have that exact setup, and it's a not tough to replicate. Maybe Jeff can lend some more sage advice.

I had G-Force 6-point harnesses, and am looking at Schroth 6-points for the next time I put a roll bar in the car.

I wont help someone put an oem belt in a car with a non oem seat. Right thing to do is a 6 point and a steering wheel. I dont know how to help you tall guys. Theres no good solution. Your too tall for the car but who am i too say dont buy one. Its a great car of course you want to buy one.
