Default AUDIO CONTROLS

iM NEW TO S2000s I was thinking of an aftermarket head unit what do I need to purchase or do to keep the audio controls on the left of the steering wheel will it work with a new headunit please help me out

Well from what my boy who is manager at Best Buy for Mobile instalations told me is that it wont work if you switch out the factory head unit for an aftermarket one. Because the factory harness is replaced by the aftermarket one they install so you loose that luxuary of the audio controls on your left side of the dash. Which is one of the reasons i havent switched out my factory unit......Thats my info on that i mean im not Audio system smart so i really dont know that much about it but i know somethings.

well since u guys werent aware of this they sell a D.C.I which is an interface thats lets u keep all the factory controls...... search the sight for DCI

the s2k marketplace sells it, it's a modifry mod that works great, cost's about 100.00

See there you go, like i said im not thatinto the boom boom i only know a little Thanx for the info GST. Now im off to llok for a nice Pioneer head unit

no problem guys..... i to was not willing to get a new stereo unless i could keep the dash controls.....
