Well I finally put the spare AP1 wheels/tires (oem s02's) I bought from Tito (2006HondaS2000) on my car this weekend. I've been driving around on them since Saturday and all I can say is what a difference a good set of tires (and wheels... one of my old ones were bent) make. The car is way more fun to drive and I can push the car a lot harder going into turns. Driving in a straight line is a lot smoother now, and overall the car is a lot more enjoyable. I used to think the suspension and the car on a whole was just rough but I guess that's what a bent rim and sub-par tires will do to a car. Now I'm itching for March 18th for the PCA autocross!

 

Im glad you got it rolling smooth but on spares??? j/k, I know what you meant.

 

I'm glad you've seen the light, can't tell you how many people I know that drive this outstanding sports car with tires worthy of a Toyota Yaris...

yeah i knew just how bad they were from my first autocross. the car gets too scary too easily. thing is i bought them cause when i bought the car i needed tires asap. those were cheap so i got them. my daily commute doesn't encourage much spirited driving so i didn't think i'd need the grip of a good tire and that's why these were "Spares" for my next auto-x. however... i was so wrong. every turn, every on and off ramp, ever sharp corner is now 100x more fun lol
