Why were you told to close the thread? Bullcrap! Looks like S2K is trying to govern my opinion and that of others who agree or disagree?

 

ya, i agree...ours wasn't at the level of disrespect the other one had reached and in essence, we almost all know each other here and its more of a discussion amongst friends. For the most part, I hope everyone here knows that no harm is intended by the discussion.

Well, for what its worth, we should remember that this is a privately owned board and not entirely subject to Constitutional Free Speech. If the "powers that be" feel a thread is too controversial or they just dont care for it, they can shut it down.

Personally, I was avoiding that thread anyway. It reeked of the "arguing on the Internet" axiom and I was tempted to post that photo in it Too many people were talking out of their asses anyway, especially when it came to the historical references.
