Default Clutch Pedal

Hey guys my clutch pedal is starting to feel weird. The pedal feels much stiffer now then when i first got the car and when i clutch in to shift or put the car in gear, it feels like the clutch pedal gets stuck for a little pit and doesnt feel as smooth as it used to. I compared it to my cousins 2004 clutch and his is super smooth compare to mine.

Does this mean my clutch is going? or does it need new fluids? more fluids? how bad is it? What can be done to fix this?

Wanted to know if it could be one of these problems??changing the clutch fluid, greasing the clutch fork, replacing the master cylinder, or greasing the throwout bearing shaft.

I was reading that maybe all it need is for the bearing in the clutch to be greased up!!! Is this true??

My problem is I need a new Throwout bearing...

Does the clutch slip when going up a hill?

The shaft that the Throw Out Bearing rides on becomes gouged and worn, causing it to drag. I have the same issue since I bought my car with 103k miles...I now have 109k on it. I simply half-clutch it and don't use 100% of the pedal throw. I'll get around to changing it out sooner or later, but I've got a 3k mile road trip coming up next week. Would've been nice to have corrected, but not enough time.

I came acroos the same exact problem on mine and I took it to the dealer and they said my slave cylinder was going out and that my warranty covers it, so I did and sure enough it was covered and my clutch felt alot smoother. Might want to look in to that! (slave cylinder)

From what the people on that thread mention, it seems super easy.

...if they changed out your slave cylinder, then that job would've required lubricating the pivot points and getting a brand new rod piece as well, so that would cure our problems as well as this free fix.

The dealer's technician (parts changer) will be more inclined to change out the part as opposed to having to write a story about what he polished up and crap. And even if he did bother with that, changing out a part will pay him more than performing this free fix will since it would not exist to Honda as a repair procedure.
