Once upon a time, I had considered a tear gas canister wired into the alarm. If the siren when off for more than 3 seconds, the can would go off.

now you know why my car doesn't ever false . The problem was the effect the gas might have on the interior, so I never went through with it

When I installed alarms for a living, I told all my convertable clients to leave the doors unlocked in the hopes a crook would open the door and set off the alarm, instead of cutting the top and setting off the alarm.

I kinka like the electrified idea.

I have another idea that could be intersting and non lethal, but I won't talk about those things in forums

We should talk, lol.

I think Clifford makes the best alarms. I'm not big on the pager thing. but that's a personal preference. I do know that pager remotes are about 100-120 to replace if you loose one or get thrown in the pool.

The reason to have an alarm to for the car to make noise when and only if someone ####s with it.

If someone decides to stick around your car when the alarm is going off, then it's probably not a good idea to confront them... that's why we have insurance.

Audio Logic is very familiar with our cars. and Mike will take good care of you

Tell him I sent you.. well if you drive up in a S2000,,,, he'll know I sent you..
