Evolution Driving School - 11 & 12 Dec 2004
healandtoe - the skills you learn at this school will stay with you for as long as you drive. The cosmetic lip and possibly helpful springs are only good for this one car. I'd say spend your money on yourself. I KNOW that you'll be a faster and better driver from the school than you would be from any mod you can do for $400.

I have just updated my first post - the dates of 11 and 12 December and the Hialeah site are now confirmed! The Phase 1 class is given on the 11th and the Phase 2 class is on the 12th.
That means it's time to confirm your participation in the event. There is a comittment to rent the site for two days and we need to get at least 20 people to attend over the two days in order to not lose money. Darrin will be collecting the money, and he will accept personal checks. I'll find out where he wants them to be sent.
Please respond to this thread with a firm committment to attend the event. I'll add your name to this list - now placed in my first post - so that we can keep a running tally on the total. I've taken the liberty of adding your name if you've already responded. If I've placed you in the wrong category, please let me know.

Quick question for you.
What do you need in the way of gear? Is a helmet required? Do you have to do anything special to the cars in order to run them?
Kim pointed out this post to me and I'm going to try to get the time off work to attend. You may want to post in a couple of the other Florida forums, as it sounds like it's well worth making the drive for some of us who live further north. That is, unless you're just wanting the South Florida members involved.

LOL! Actually, I have about 4 at the moment. Wanna borrow one for the class?
I guess a more appropriate question would be "is a motorcycle helmet okay if helmets ARE required?"
Kim, it's really going to be hard for me to be down there this weekend and not get together with you!

One day soon we've got to get our cars together for some pictures - in daylight! '03 & '04 Sebring Silver S2000s rock!
I'm bringing the bike down, so no photo ops this weekend. Just going to be a quick trip.
And yes, you may borrow a helmet.
NOTE: Please sign me up for phase 1. I'll watch the thread for when/where to send my money.
