What do you need in the way of gear? Is a helmet required? Do you have to do anything special to the cars in order to run them?
do we?

You do need to bring a helmet to the school. It can be a motorcycle helmet, but it must be Snell-rated, '90 or newer. Specifically that means M- and SA- Snell rated helmets are fine as long as the year is '90, '95, or '00.

You will want to bring some drinks and snacks. Lunch is usually ordered in, and is included in the price of the school. It's nothing fancy - at the last school I attended it was pizza. We'll probably use one fo the local restaurants though, so Cuban food is a likely option. We will have a discussion session during lunch, so there really isn't much of a break.

I've moved the attendance list to my first post, so look for it there.

Please send your checks to Darrin to confirm your spot. He will hold the check until the event, so don't worry about early registration. It really helps us out if you send in the $$ as soon as you can so that we can be sure we have enough people to make the event happen.

The school starts at 07:30 and runs until 17:30 (5:30 PM). It's apretty intensive day, so get plenty of rest the night before!

1 Day (Phase 1 on Saturday or Phase 2 on Sunday) - $225
2 days (Phase 1 and Phase 2, Saturday and Sunday) - $400

OK...
I'm very interested in this program, but i want to find out if this program is right for me.

Well... about a month ago i totalled my civic by loosing control on the turn. I would definately not want to experience that again. I have never been in any autocross event. Would this program help me?

Suzuka, I think your questions were answered by Penrod on the first page of this thread.

Excellent! I'm confident that the Evo school will get you "unstuck".

I put you and Joey down on the list.
