Have you noticed there have been a lot of brand new people posting. The funny thing about these posts is that they always seem to be selling parts. Been a member for 2 hours and your first post is your selling "your " seats.

I agree.. I think we should have Dario do something real simple.. Have them come to a Wed. Night Meet to show proof of ownership of a S2000. If they are a fan, take a photo of them.. for our records. While the photo is being taken, have someone take a photo of thier car and plate.. If they dont come to a meet, take their post off. Too many fake people here already, dont need more of this ..@@

Alarm, Seat Locks, and a Video Camera?

While I'm at it why don't I get a tree stand and sit there with my rifle... get real mitch that is extreme... and you say he is paranoid.

I've have an alarm seatlocks pretty much since i bought the car. No Cam

 

It is not paranoia.. it is just stating a fact that by allowing people to post that have seats for sale, that do not own S2000s, we are inviting them to sell at will and encourage the thefts. If someone is going to take my seats, it will happen. No alarm or camera will stop them. But why not weed out the ones that are here to profit from our real members. Ones that follow us home and take that which is not theirs..

 

we won't be photographing anyone mitch. we can agree on that.

we will TRY to monitor the posts but that is realistically all that can be done.

alarm and seat locks are your friends. a garage is even better.

 

So no photographs.. How about have them come by on Wed. before they post something to sell?

we TRY to have people attend meets first. this has been a 'policy' for som time now.

the safety of your car is really YOUR responsibility. we try but you must do your part.
